Wildand Fire Prevention
The Great Lakes Forest Fire Compact Identifies the forest fire prevention needs common to Compact members. The Compact also makes related prevention materials and procedures of member and other agencies available to Compact members.
Where required, the Compact Develops prevention materials and programs for dissemination to Compact members. Smokey Bear and similar forest fire prevention campaigns are supported by the efforts of the Compact.
